EV Charger Type Approval
All EV chargers must be type-approved and affixed with approval labels before they can be supplied, installed or certified as fit for charging electric vehicles (EVs).
EV Charger Registration
All EV chargers must be registered with LTA before they can be used, and must be affixed with a registration mark within 60 days from the date of registration. You must inform LTA when you transfer, relocate, or deregister your EV charger(s).
Licensing of EV Charging Operator
All EV Charging Operators (EVCOs) must obtain a licence to provide EV charging services to the public or to operate public EV charging stations.
Minimum EV Charging Provisions
Developments that undergo specified building or electrical works will be required to provide EV charging infrastructure.
